About me
Hello, my name is Stefan and I would describe myself as a very technology-enthusiastic person. My early beginnings with IT started at the age of 10 with my parents' first PC. Even back then, I was fascinated by how a "dumb" lump of metal was able to perform complex tasks quickly and, above all, correctly without any human intervention. Since then, I have been involved with almost everything that has a processor. Naturally, from that point on, my career choice was already predetermined. Even after completing an apprenticeship as an IT specialist for system integration at a Japanese chemical company, my interest and curiosity in this field were far from satisfied. As my chances of being taken on there were also very poor at the time, I decided, after one year of professional experience, to complete practical further training as a state-certified IT technician. Through a partnership between this technical college and a university in Wales, UK, another and perhaps even my last opportunity for studying abroad arose for me. This gave me the good fortune to expand both my skills and my experience in another country. After completing my bachelor's degree, I then spent years working for a well-known regional vehicle outfitter as well as a public authority. Today, I am involved in the international coordination and conception of IT policies for subsidiaries within the parent company of a group of companies and also support them as an IT consultant in technical decisions and problems.
